Last year, liberal Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley and his cohorts in the Democrat-dominated state decided to tax the rain. You literally can’t make this stuff up. Now, as O’Malley’s right hand man seeks the Governorship, one of the Republicans also seeking the office decided to put out a musical spoof lambasting “taxation with precipitation”. Take a look:
Unfortunately, this is Maryland we’re talking about, and the state will almost certainly vote Democrat despite the current regime hitting them with over 80 new taxes. Ron George and the other Republicans seeking the seat will need to be creative to even get consideration. This is something, but it’s unlikely to stick with Maryland’s liberal voting base.
